Square Register - Remove Regular Price From Receipt

To get around item discounts not working as expected, we use modifiers to set the price of some items. Those items have their regular price set to zero and the modifier sets the actual price.

In our tests using Square Terminal, the regular price never printed on receipts. Only the modifier price was shown like this...

ITEM NAME x 20

20+ ($0.25)

With Square Register the regular price is on receipts with the modifier something like this...

ITEM NAME x 20

($0.00 ea.)

20+ ($0.25)

We really need to get rid of the ($0.00 ea.) regular price. How can that be done?

Either there was an update pushed for this and it hadn't been applied to my register yet, or my register didn't install the updates.

I saw updates were available in settings, installed them manually and this problem has been solved. The regular price no longer appears on receipts.
