Hi,
My Square Reader is getting disconnected when there is no Internet and is not attempting to reconnect when the network connection gets recovered. The only way to reconnect the device is going through the reader sdk reader setting and choosing Reconnect or by Restarting the App.
Is there any way to reconnect the Reader SDK without closing an app or without opening the reader settings.

Are you using the Contactless + Chip Reader? Or a different reader?
Check out this link to get to some troubleshooting steps for this reader in particular.
Please let me know if this doesn't do the trick or you're working with a different type of reader.

Thanks for clarifying the type of reader you have. The Contactless Reader automatically reconnects after your POS device wakes back from standby mode. However if it disconnects due to an internet outage, most times you'll need to reconnect it from the reader settings in-app.
