Square Marketing Campaign and facebook

I would like to run promotions during the holidays, but I have a few questions about using the square marketing campaigns. I am just starting my business so I do not have an email list so I would like to utilize facebook to send out coupons on holidays. I know that you can do this with square marketing. My questions are:

1. Can this be used when booking appointments?

2. Does it automatically apply this disocunt to their appointment when they hit activate?

3. Can you delete the "tell the cashier" promo code?

4. How does it notify me that they have activated this code if it is not automatically applied when they book an appointment?

Welcome to Square, and apologies for the delayed response! 🙈 Off the top of my head I don't have the exact details on exactly how Square Marketing and Appointments interact with each other. Let me reach out to some folks for the answer. Be back soon!

If found out through trying myself that you can apply a discount to any or all items or service at once in your store. You will have to tell people to click the Promo code button that shows up at check out. Kind of small but its there.

Then when clicked it does its job perfectly applying the discount. 

 

I'm with you on the "Can you delete the "tell the cashier" promo code?"

I haven't found a way to remove it yet either. All the templates offered seem to have that. OR, even change the code from 1,2,3...IF you have a teller. 

 

So, I will be lookng forward to seeing in responses on that one. Otherwise it isn't usebale for me being strictly online.

@jrhmassage I can answer these questions. 

1. Coupons can't be used when booking an appointment. They would be used at the time of check out on Square Point of Sale. 

2. I'm not sure which step your referring to when you say they hit activate. If you could reply back with a screen shot that would be awesome! 

3.Currently you cannot delete this text. 

4.The coupon code can only be used once, Square Point of Sale will notify you if a coupon has already been used. 

 

@Sam_Jewelry_Lov currently, you cannot edit the small text at the bottom of the coupon that says "Or tell cashier the reward code below when you pay". The code you see on the templet is a generic example, that's why its 123456. When a customer receives the coupon it will be a unique number generated by Square Point of Sale.
