Square Loyalty: No Option to Sign customer up when email is sent for receipt

I recently started using square loyalty.  I have been having no problems except a the end of the transaction when the receipt is automatically emails or texted to the customer there is no option to sign them up for our loyalty program.  When normally at the very end of the transaction there is a screen to get their phone number and sign up.   I have had to go in and manually add them to the program and add the points they should have gotten.  Does anyone have any input on this or a solution?  Thank you!

Do you have "Skip Receipt Screen" enabled on the settings on the POS that's giving you this issue?

We talked with square customer service and the issue is now resolved! Might have just been a bug on their end.

Oh perfect! I'm glad they got it resolved for you and that it was just a bug - Way to go for catching it and reporting it! I'm sure this helped a bunch more sellers too!

I haven't heard back from square about what the issue exactly was...but this morning when a reciept was automatically emailed to a customer the screen to sign up for the loyalty program popped up after, which it hadnt popped up before, so fingers crossedw e are all set!
