Square Dashboard - Live Sales

Must be doing something wrong... how can I view live sales from my phone for Square for Restaurants sales?

I can only see sales in the dashboard app once end of day has been completed. I can see the individual transactions and live summary if I go to the POS and hit transactions or view live sales, but no way to do that from the online dashboard, or the dashboard app that I can see?

This is a core function I need to operate my business.

I do not use the Square for Restaurants, but on Square for Retail on my cell phone (Android) I have at the bottom Checkout, Items, Reports, Notifications and 3 bars that says more.   I click on reports, Then have to enter my Passcode, Then press Sales..Then Passcode again.... Then it shows the Daily sales so far.    This I think should be similar for you with Square for Restaurants.

Thanks Keith. This is what I’m doing in the restaurant. Looking for same functionality (preferably in same setup as dashboard) on the go.

I guess what I am trying to say is you could download the app on your personal cell phone to log into your Square account to see these numbers without going through the Dashboard.  Now if you want to see current sales in your Dashboard on the go in a web browser on your mobile device,  you could type this address in a web browser to Login to your Dashboard on the go :

https://squareup.com/dashboard/ 

The enter your credentials on your mobile device, i.e. your Square user name (email) and password. 

I have my Square app on 2 Ipad Stands for in store sales, 2 Tablets and 3 Cell phones which all connect to my Square account, plus numerous computers to log in to the Square Dashboard.  With Square you do not pay extra for signing in through more app on more devices.

Just in case you haven't seen this Product Update - the ability to see your sales live on your Dashboard has been implemented! 

I know this has been a long-time request for our sellers, so I wanted to let you know it's now possible.

Definitely an improvement, and able to access via browser! Would love to see the same ability for open checks to be reported in the Square Dashboard for IOS app to easily access on the go.

Or even better, a new square for restaurants Dashboard app that has all the important restaurant metrics in it as well!
