Separating Items in CSV

Is it possible to have items split up by column in CSV export by default?  Like, one row for Item A, another for Item B, done as such for each sale going down the record.  Maybe I missed the how-to on that one.  As it is, all items get counted and batched into one column on the spreadsheet, which makes it hard to arrange sales by item in Excel.

We are reviewing the standard CSV export.  As far as I can tell, all Items are batched into one column, which makes arranging them by Item code in Excel very difficult.

Ok but what report? Transactions, items sales, etc.  What do you mean by “item code” and what are you trying to accomplish?
