Sales tax vs service charge

Not sure if this is a new feature or I just havnt seen it before. 

under the dashboard 

settings>
business>
service charge 

(create service charge and assign amount)

ive been using a sales tax renamed for the service fees. What is the difference between the two and or is this a new feature to eliminate assigning a sales tax?

Nice find! I'm thinking it was added to a recent update, and replaces the need to use a surcharge assigned as a tax from before.
