Receive payments through square with a single us card via email

Can square receive payments using single us visa cards via email? Payor will email a 16 digit Visa account number for invoice payment. How would this work with square as there will not be a card to swipe? I would assume that it can be manually entered. Has anyone had any experience with this method of payment using square.

@DeBonnell - You shouldn't have any issues manually entering a card. You can find more details here. You'll just want to make sure you capture the follow details in addition to the card number:

• Expiration date
• Security code/CVV
• Billing ZIP code

You could also consider sending an invoice online. This would give your customer the option to keeping their full card details private. They would be able to enter them securely through the invoice.
