Question about acquiring customer emails

In my customers records, under "instant profiles," a lot of my customers don't have an email, but it does say that their email is reachable "via marketing," and then asks me if i want to create an email campaign. Does this mean that I can email them... to get their email? Or something else? I don't understand how I can email them if I don't have access to them. Thanks!

that means the customer gave their email address for getting a receipt.  to see their emails you must collect them separately in customer directory.  you can use the email collection feature of the app.
