Proper way to offer subscription to all those who have send a message to our site over past 5 years?

The best way to accomplish this would be to create an email campaign that would include a subscription link.  

When creating a new campaign you will select the purpose to  Collect a payment (see image below). This will allow inviting your customers to get a subscription with you.
