I am hosting a paint & sip. I have people preregister and pay on square. With this particular paint and sip, if we dont get at least 13 people we will cancel the event. I was hoping that square could hold the funds until after the preregistration date so that if we don't hit the magic # so it is easy for me to refund that $. The event is up for sale now(April 22) and preregistration closes on April 30th. any tips? and does square charge me for refunds?
There are not much options here but you are not charged for refunds. When you do a refund you will get all your money back including processing fees. Just note that it can take a week or more for the refund to post to the customers account.
