We have used only the appointment and customer database parts of Square so far. We want to add Payments and Customer Engagement. The issue is that, without using Payments so far, there is no data in the Last Visited/Activity field(s), so the customer engagement functionality (for marketing campaigns, etc.) is limited because it looks at the last purchase date. I am told by Square I cannot update this data myself, so any data from my business to-date is not available. How can I get my data into the Last Visited/Activity fields? Can Square do it for me if I send all my data?

The data you are looking to update is from card data in the system. That does populate those data fields from the payment/card info that is transmitted to your Directory. Last visited date is populated from the last time a card is used and linked to a specific Customer Profile, and yes, as our team did explain - there is no way to automatically update this information.
You can choose to create your own custom fields in your directory and enter information that you'd like to track. You can create your own email groups for Customer Engagement based on this information, but without the card data- our Automated Campaigns will be the ones you're not able to use until card info is tracked as well.
