Hello, my name is Julie, my business is JMc Crafts, I sell handmade items made by me, I love making unique gifts for people.

It's only me working for my business, mind my mum loves to sit with me every Thursday at the local market.

My business link is jmccrafts.co.uk, I started with shopify but would love to move over to just square.

I live in Wales.

Thanks for sharing, that sounds lovely, here's an idea of what we have going on in the Community: 

• Support you can’t get anywhere else: Find answers to common questions about using Square (and we’ll do our best to answer uncommon questions too) and ask the questions you’ve always wanted to. When you ask a question about the Community another business owner can reply to share their experience or a member of the Community team will swoop in to help.
• Hear Square news first: Subscribe to Product Updates to receive updates about Square’s newest features and tools for your business. For example, learn what’s included in each Square Terminal update with Square Terminal Release Notes.

Hello @Jules46 and Welcome to the Square Community! We're so glad you joined us! I just checked out your website, and I love that you're a maker and have a nice variety of items for sale. Keep going with your local market sales....and promote your website there; I've found starting local with people who already know you and your work is a great way to further expand the reach of your business. Also see if there are any other local makers you can partner with, or join a artist/crafter co-op or vendor events. Just keep going and making, I wish you success with your business!

As @Breffni mentioned, we're a great group of fellow business owners and Square users, so keep reading the posts in the Community and asking questions. We all love to support each other. Also consider joining one of the specialized groups in the Community, there's even one for MAKERS! (yeah! shout out as a fellow maker myself!)

Hi @Jules46 . Firstly would like to say hey! I had a look at your site looks great. 🙂 Square has a really good, easy to use online shop software that can make your site look really professional. With square you can also send invoices which could be really handy for your line of work. Not only that but the basic account has a lower processing rate.
