We've run payroll twice and each time I've had to manually adjust the imported timecard hours for a few employees due to incorrect hours. For example:
Actual Employee hours: 18 (verifed and shown correctly in the timecard reports)
Imported Payroll hours: 17.98
The hours that needed adjusting are all off similar percentages. Any idea why?
That's odd—thanks for writing in. It looks like we heard about this issue from a few sellers and escalated the matter to our engineering team.
Our team is on it! We'll get in touch when things are resolved.
I would like to be notified as well. There seems to bean extra 10th of an hour added if I have to go in and manually change an employee's timecard on even hours (example: 6pm to 10pm comes out to 4.01 hours)
Hey @HRB, thanks for flagging — that does sound strange. 🤔
We aren't able to access account-specifics in the seller community but we'd like to have a closer look. Mind sending a some more details directly on which employee's timecard this is happening to?
Our Payroll Team can be reached by going to Contact Square > Other > Square Payroll. They'll be able to take a deeper dive into your account and get this sorted out. Please don't hesitate to reply with any other questions or concerns.
Sure. I don't think it's actually adding it on when it comes time to pay them. At least, I don't think so. But it certainly is some kind of a glitch. I'll reach out to Payroll directly. Thx.
Thanks again, @HRB — appreciate you taking the time to send more info directly. We'll make sure this gets sorted out.
