Payroll Timing Question

We’ve run our last payroll on Paycor and I am about to run our first payroll on Square. On our old system, this payroll would run from 12/28 to 1/10.  Payroll would be submitted on the 10th for checks to be issued on the 12th.

If I'm understanding this new system correctly, I would not be submitting until the 10th with payment on the 17th.  This is too long a lag for our employees, as they last received their checks on 12/29.  

What should I do?

Hi @CityGirlDonuts - If you are issuing hard checks, there is no processing time. You either will be hand writing the checks or printing them from Square's system which can be done same day. If you have employees with direct deposit, the processing time is 4 business days.
