Partial payments on an non-in-person invoice?

I want to email a Square Invoice to my customer for payment by credit card. For customers who have daily charge limits on their card, can they make partial payments over a few days? I don't always know or want to know their daily charge limit, so I'd like to not have to specify a rigid payment schedule. I'd like to let the customer determine the payment schedule. (within reason, of course.) This might be like a series of deposits of unspecified amounts until the full balance is paid.

Welcome to the Community!

There is an option to add a payment schedule to your invoices. It will automatically generate reminders for the frequency you wish. The only it wouldn't have is letting the customer enter the amount they wish to pay. 

Whenever you create the split payment it will ask you to set a percentage or amount for each reminder.
