POS menu items don't match library list.

I wish I could include a screenshot of what is happening. My POS service menu items suddenly got added to. There are a gift card and a redeem rewards item that I did not put in myself. But worse, every one of my items has acquired a twin with price as "variable." When I goto the "Items" tool to try and delete the duplicates, they aren't on the list that can be modified, only the POS menu. The mystery added items are not in my Dashboard list of items either. I want the twins gone!

First thing I would do is to kill the app and restart it.  If that doesn't work delete the app and reboot then reinstall.  If that doesn't work you'll need to call customer service.  https://squareup.com/help/contact

 

Please note that Redeem rewards and gift cards will always be at the top of the item list.

Thank you. I wouldn't mind using the Services from the appointment app, but are the icons and colors adjustable? Will it transfer to the grid POS menu on iPad? What is the briefcase icon or whatever it is?

Hi @BillD! You can change the color of an item or you can add a picture from the Point of Sale app from your phone or from an iPad. You can't change the color or icon for a service (the briefcase) at this time. I see how it would be useful to be able to change that icon and I've shared that feedback with the Appointments team! 

 

Also, to clarify, all services will have a variable price in the Point of Sale app. That way you can change the price before check out if needed. Services in the Appointments app will have a fixed price if you set them up that way!
