I'm working to setup our Weebly Online Store with new pages for online food and retail item sales and everything with this system reminds me of the old Henry Ford adage of "You can have it any color you want as long as it's black". I'm trying specifically to add a few categories of items to a single page that I can also add a text section to describe when we offer food - because you can't limit orders based on time and category. I started doing this with the Home Page but that doesn't allow adding any items that aren't "featured" and doesn't allow for some amount of segmentation by category. If I switch to creating a Category Page, you can add a list of items based on selected categories. But, you can't actually add any text sections, which is a really basic need and really frustrating. Why? Can't we just have a page template that you just add the sections you want to without ridiculous limitations like "who needs any more text anyway?" There's probably a lot of very frustrated users working on setting up an online store with Weebly for the first time with jaws dropped at how confusing it is to use.
