Online Store, Drag & Drop doesn't work

I just started an online store for a BSA Troop fundraiser site.  I've added items, then created category pages.  I'm trying to re-order the items in the category page, but the "drag & drop" feature is not working.  (Category Page > Item List > "Arrange & Add Items" > "Arrangement" is set to "Custom" > Drag & Drop fails). I've tried it on Chrome and Firefox. I've logged out, restarted webpages, still doesn't work.  Is there something I'm missing?

 

Oddly enough, the "drag & drop" works on the "all items" page, but not on any of the category pages.

 

Also, is there a way to re-order the list of category pages on the "all items" page?

Sorry to hear about the prolonged trouble with the drop-down options in your Online Store. That is a tough one for sure. I appreciate you listing the troubleshooting steps you've taken so far, as well as the specific browsers you've tried.

 

We have some specific troubleshooting steps for the Online Dashboard that may be able to help here. These steps will walk you through ensuring that not only your specific browser is up to date in terms of the most recent software, but also that the device you are using is up to date with its software as well. Usually, each of these 'stars' has to align to get a perfect display for most Online Store editing. 

 

I'm still taking a look into your Category Cages question - I'm going to test some actions and will reach back out.

 

Let me know if those troubleshooting steps get you where you need to be! I will keep an eye out for your response.

Joe,

Thanks for the reply.  I double checked that I'm on the latest version of Chrome and Firefox.  Made sure that the cache in each was cleared out.  Got the same result.  Then, powered off the computer, and did a manual restart.  Launched Chrome, same result.  I can rearrange items in the "Shop All" page, but not on any of the category pages.

 

I found another issue.  For some reason, I have 2 copies of the same item, an "EZ Wreath Hanger".  (To distinguish them, I've renamed the one that I can normally see as "EZ Wreath Hanger very ez"). I can see the two items when I try to add items for a category page (see the attachment).  But I can't see the two items when I look at the regular "Item List".  I can only see the one called "very ez".

 

How do I get rid of the one called "EZ Wreath Hanger" and keep the one called "EZ Wreath Hanger very ez"?

Hi there, @DrChili111 - thanks for the prompt reply! And thanks for trying out those steps for me, as well as listing specifically what you tried. So helpful for those on my side trying to diagnose! This is a strange occurrence, indeed.

 

In an effort to get this resolved more efficiently, would you mind flagging this over to our Support Team? I would like to get some more eyes and a "hands-on" approach to your Online Store to see where the discrepancy lays.
