I currently use the online store for curbside pickup for my ice cream shop. If we run out of a flavor or option, I have to take several steps on several items to "hide" it in the online store. My dashboard only allows me to delete an item from the grid layout (I don't see a hide option here, which would be helpful when we return to normal procedures).
Is there a more efficient way to do this? Or perhaps I should set up my items and modifiers differently? For example, I sell both soft serve and hard scoop ice cream (they are priced differently). I set up "cups" (s/m/lg are all separate items), and "scooped cups" and within those, customers can choose from modifiers for ice cream flavors and toppings. So, if I run out of chocolate soft serve, I have to go into each size cup, scroll down to the "soft serve" modifier, and scroll through to chocolate to hide. There must be an easier way? Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks

There isn't a hide button available for your items in Point of Sale. That feature is only exclusive to the Online Store.
If you want to show a flavor to be out of stock, you'll need to create your flavors as individual items and add a stock amount to them from the edit item page in Online Store Dashboard. When you run out, the flavor will show Sold out which prevents your customer from selecting it at checkout. This is a more efficient way to manage your flavors without manually hiding them.
