One person, multiple businesses that are totally unrelated?

There's someone who uses Square for her own business, with her own equipment. However, she's also volunteering for a Not-For-Profit (NFP) that uses Square. They are completely unrelated businesses. She is reluctant to do cashier work for the NFP, for fear that charges for one will go to the other business. I believe that she has just one e-mail address.

Is there some way for her to switch between businesses? I've tried searching, but I'm new to Square and I'm not even sure what the correct words are. I think "locations" is not applicable.

If I create a "Mobile Staff (Free)" account for her for the NFP, would that work? In its dashboard on a laptop, such an account has almost no settings to work with.

I did find two previous discussions here, https://www.sellercommunity.com/t5/New-to-Square/If-I-have-one-Square-account-but-more-than-one-busi... and https://www.sellercommunity.com/t5/General-Discussion/how-can-one-person-work-for-more-than-one-busi... The latter suggests getting a second free email account, which seems inelegant.  The former says to use locations, but I think that doesn't work, because they're not locations for the same business.

the answer is to just get a free Gmail address for the account that will be linked to the NFP that she is working at.  locations definitely not a way to go for this situation.  The address will just be used for logging into the square account that the free mobile user is set up to process in.

her email is associated with her account and won't be able to log into other businesses accounts while using it.  Just like if you have a Spotify or other app account with let's say [email protected] you can't create a second account with that same email address

Thank you for the information.

Just to be paranoid, I called customer support, and the person suggested the same thing -- have the Square user create another email address / account and log in as that.
