One item with taxable and non-taxable parts

I would like to create a "Workshop" item at a set price of $30. The workshop includes taxable items and a non-taxable portion for my time. From a customer standpoint I prefer to charge them for this one item rather than break it up on their receipt. Is there a way to do this such that the one item includes taxable items, the tax, and the non-taxable portion in one transaction? Thanks!

I see what you are doing there by making a bundle, but there isn't a way to make a partially taxed item.  one way to go about it would be to create a special tax rate that you would need to figure out for each bundle.

so let's say it is $30 and $10 is taxable and your normal interest rate is 9%.  you would have to create a tax rate of 3% and apply it to the bundle of $30 resulting in 90¢ tax which is the same as 9% on the $10.

We are a golf course where greens fees are not taxed but golf cart rentals are taxed.  We want to bundle 18 holes and a golf cart where only the golf cart is taxed.  Is that possible?  And will the receipt show the individual items and the tax on the golf cart?

@ACCC I am not aware of a bundle feature in Square at this time.  Having said that, I did a quick search of bundle in the community, and came up with these threads.  They might, or might not, help.  If nothing else, they will give you a link to a person who had ideas.  Best wishes.
