New to Square: General set up questions for a new business

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Ive got just a few solutions I cant resolve.

Hello,

New to Square here. Like a lot of people unemployed as a bartender and as of yesterday my employer closed entirely. But that's okay because we've got a feel good business with a feel good profit model and I almost done mapping out all the solutions but I'm stuck on a few things.

First is there a reset button? I purchased the web domain straight from the Square Dashboard so I dont recall what integration it was. But I feel for my business and the integrations I going to need there are better cleaner solutions for marketing and other sub services and I would like to not use square as the website. Is the domain that I purchased stuck to square or since I technically purchased a website for the $16 domain I can make another one?

We are a concierge service for people and business and both of those result in some additional consultation opportunities and at the foot of the issue grocery delivery. Realizing that at some point we are going to come out of this and there is going to be an excessively high demand for certain services ( Grocery delivery is 4-5 days right now) I compiled all of our communities needs and started mapping. Its a B2B plan that is there to connect businesses together and adopt early concepts ahead of the curve (Part of the reason I chose Square they share this mode of thinking) to create a better customer experience with universal rewards. I don't think we have any token creating platforms domestically that are investing here? Rewards.com was almost finished with theirs blockchain solution complete and poof gone like the wind. So were gunna steal the concept anyway and just not use cyrpto

We start with small test market of 5-8 resturants all local that do not use any delivery service or their own and were going to provide delivery service for them at no additional cost (We have a small markup dimes on the dollar to all transactions which the consumer is disclosed upfront about so that we aren't taxing our partners) in exchange for discounted catering services off the bottom line and those dividens the restaurant is getting back at the end of each month they just cant report it then so we don't know what to do with their cut of not charging them.

We then turn these catering discounts around to encourage booking of another restaurant with a backroom venue (Its a Midwest thing to host your at home diy business at resturants) and then were bringing in the crafts, the oils, the bath bombs. and the cycle repeats. Then we book/consult on wedding planning we bring in local college photography talent and we keep exposing contractors and artists on the site to promote, loyalty etc.

We then take all these things and connections and build I Love Local Packages, Date Night for tourists to experience the very best of our city maybe 2 drinks from a distillery, coupon redemptions. chocolates/pastries from local shop. Maybe we bring donuts every Monday morning as part of our concierge service to a merchandise solutions/pens/cups/mugs merchant and they throw in items and it goes on and on. These will have a split of 35% profit and 65% charity

Its about maintaining the upkeep on the delivery food and grocery errands and B2B until theres a solid non-errand sales profit (The real income) And were planning on these things now slowly over the next 2 months so that when we go back to not sitting in our homes we address the issues that are gunna be bad and highly in need:

Background Checks/Preemployment Screening - our community will be 30% or more not returning to the same job.
In home care (Non-medical) including prescreen - Reinforcement of liscening and credentials will increase needs.
Drop in replacement employment for ill/critical role
Travel Arrangements

Grocery Delivery
Our food delivery

Everything is very Pay It Forward Model...Thus we are Tip it Forward Conceriege. So every items is dimes on the dollar including grocery shops so that our daily pay covers operation costs. A $50 grocery transaction is really $60 and the customer Tips Forward another $10. We have $20 that gets split 35/65. 35% is split amongst all working employees for the day and the remaining 65% is split in half one to a dump fund for charitable requests basic needs clothes food etc. and the other half goes towards whatever current community campaign is going on right now. The jar at the restaurant, feeding our hospital/1st resp/gov't/retail workers good food. and then all the non delivery sales get split again the next morning to all workers (Deliveries will be done well before straight sales items would close for the day) Contractors are paid separately.

1. Whats the draw back to combined tips/income. Can I report the sales the next day for tipped employees? I just don't have a need for these teams after 4pm how do you manage labor on aa mobile fleet? Anyone have cutting experience here?

2. These baskets/packages/I love Local  involve many merchants products. I saw that we had an invoicing update and we can mass push them out but is there anyway or any solution that when a package is sold PAYMENT goes out to the required merchants?...also so they know their inventory and when to give more stuff.

3. Square rolled out delivery/curb side. I stopped playing with it before they fix it or so I'm hearing. Is there any square to square integration...guest privilege's if you will on another square terminal so say when the restaurant gets an order for delivery the "guests" are notified just like the consumer on pick up order ready dropped etc? I would think this would be a pretty easy solution to places that don't have their own delivery and would cut down typical app development for non aggregator solutions to 1 instead of 2-3 This idea could also pave the way for more square b2b interactions. Even a permission role as delivery.

4. As we build relationships I need to be able to use a solution as a personal assistant to combine loyalty account reward cards etc but with multiple accounts to be store not just a single person on a single Keyring App

5. House accounts - recurring invoicing per customers needs to autorefill to complete day to day week to week everything. Anyone using anything like that? or know of a good solution for house tabs/credit? I was thinking a Wex card/Ghost card account but its pretty costly since only doing a few and youd pay for two swipes to load it and some customers dont want it to be open refillable whenever but don't want to open the new invoice either. What if im sick We only get one square card. How do you guys handle one card lots of team, if you even have something integrated?

Which leaves some holes in accounting which I haven't picked yet because we have our gig/contractors to figure out but is there easy to use accounting software that allows for multiple classifications of cash?

Thank you!

Hey @Magnis thanks for posting and welcome to the Seller Community. I will do my best to answer your questions I in the order I saw them below.

As far as your domain question at the top of your post, you should be able to transfer the domain you purchased to and from whichever eCommerce site you like. There may be fees involved, but make sure to read Weebly's help article for more information.

1: Keep in mind if you are tracking combined tips for employees, we do not have a way to support group tipping at the moment. You will need to track each employee's sales separately and combine and distribute their tips yourself at the end of the evening.

2: Any 3rd party payment to merchants participating in your baskets will have to be done outside of Square. You will receive the payment for everything and will need to track which merchants it belongs to and distribute communication and payment to them accordingly.

3: Both buyer and seller are notified when a pickup order is placed and ready

The other questions seem to be asking help from other sellers who may have similar set ups as you.

Regardless, let me know if you have any follow up questions and I will do my best to answer. Thanks!
