(New Member) Warren Strybosch - Find Foundation (How do you set up recurring charges?)

Hi Everyone,

I have set up the Find Foundation two years ago (www.findfoundation.org.au).  We are about to launch the Find Cards (www.findcards.com.au) in Melbourne where any business can obtain free advertising to our Find Card members (Just finishing off the website).  Yes, FREE advertising - just provide an offer that will attract customers to your door.  You can change your offer at anytime.

What I need to know is how I can get people to make a purchase e.g. $4.99 per month, but it is a recurring charge on their credit card.

Is there a way to inform the purchase at point of sale that this is going to be a recurring charge and it all happens automatically?  I was told when we signed up that this would be the case but I cannot see how?

I understand we could take CC details and get the people to agree to us holding their CC information and then going into the back end to set up the recurring payment but I would rather this be all automated.

I would love someones help or feedback on this matter.  Square are you able to help?  We are trialling WP EasyCart as well.

Great question - And welcome to the Seller Community! 😃

If you want to set up a recurring payment in return for a regular service that your business provides, you can achieve this by creating a recurring invoice series or scheduling recurring payments with Virtual Terminal

You will still be required to add a customer's Card on File before proceeding with either of the above options, however, you are only required to complete this step once.
