Why doesn't my new Samsung Galaxy S10e phone work with the chip reader?

Hi @whit1282! Welcome to the Seller Community. 

It doesn't appear the S10e is listed on our Compatibility Page as a tested device. The S10 is but not the S10e. If it isn't tested, there's no guarantee of the readers working with it but hopefully we will have that device available and tested soon. 

For now, you'll have to check that page out for another compatible device you could use with it. Really sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.

Any chance you (Samsung) can notify individual S10e users when this is fixed? Or do we have to just keep checking the compatability list?

You'll have to check the Compatibility page for updates on new devices added.
