I know at the time of setting up the account, we can check off if we want to allow tips at the register.  Don't know about taking a tip after the fact.  You might just have to run the credit card again with just the tip? unless she hands you cash.

Thanks @RCT! @ErikaB49 - you can turn the tipping option on and off any time by going into the settings of the app (tap the three horizontal lines, then Settings and Tipping). Hope this helps!
