Multiple sellers in a Pop-up Shop that sell the same item. How can I track each seller's sales?

I am opening a pop up consignment shop and have multiple sellers (30-50) I don't need to track inventory, just daily sales for each seller and taxable items. 

How do I set up each seller with a number so I can ring in their sales and get a daily total of taxable and non-taxable items? 

I can export to a spreadsheet to do consignment calculations but I need to track each sellers daily totals. Help!

I've spent a ridiculous amount of time on this forum and all the answers are from pre-2020.

I would say create a category for each consignor and a blank item under each that you can enter the total on and add sales tax to or turn it off if needed.

Thank you Alexandriak. I did find out this has to be done from the app, not on a computer. We don't have a tablet yet so I was trying to enter it on my computer and it wouldn't work. Live and learn...

You can do this from your Square Dashboard.

From the Dashboard on a Computer click Items 

Then on the Items page click Create an Item

For Item name give it a name Widget for example

Then for Category start typing the sellers name or Business name..... ie  Steves

As you start typing the category name it will either auto fill or ask you if you want to create a New Category.

Choose your choice depending if you are adding more Items to Steves for example or if its your 1st item for Steves

Then scroll down and continue entering the rest of the Items Details, Sale Price, etc maybe quantity you have on hand or they delivered to you if more than 1, SKU or GTIN if available.

Then when you have everything in click Save and repeat for other sellers and their item(s).
