Multiple Employees claim a job in Square Appointments?

We are using Square Apppointments for a moving company and almost all jobs need multiple employees. We were wondering if there is a way to have multiple employees need to claim a job for it to be accepted ot even just to assign a job to multiple employees.

Why has no one responded to this yet..?

 

I am in the same boat. Mobile detailing company that uses multiple employees per job. We need to pay $50/month to have 2+ employees in the appointment software but cannot assign them to the job. I called in and was told the feature does not exist yet. Is there a timeline for when this feature will be implemented?

 

We love the idea of square appointments, but lacking features like this render it useless for our purposes. Other missing functions like not being able to edit the job location in the Appointments app and having to use a web browser instead make it feel like Appointments should still be in beta. Basic functions should be included and working before you start charging for it imo.

Hey there @Effortless, I'm so glad you brought this to the forefront of the Community. I'm not sure how this one slipped through the cracks, but glad to have some eyes on it now.

 

You have a strong take, here - and I want you to know that I hear you. We try hard to make sure that our minimum viable product is far from minimum, while still simple enough to be helpful to Sellers. We agree that our Appointments feature has an unlimited amount of potential - and we actively take feedback and push it up to our Engineers for development, but as you can imagine, this process takes some time. We appreciate you hanging tough while we continue to make Appointments the best it can be. 

 

I'm glad you were able to speak to our Support Team about this. You are correct in citing that this is still a feature request. While I don't have an accurate timeline to share, I will be sure to make it vocal here on this thread whenever there is an update to share. The same goes with your other requests (location editing, App functionality, etc.) - which are all strong as well.

 

Again, I really do appreciate you taking the time to voice this - and for your patience. We can't improve without feedback like this, and we are grateful.
