Migrated gift cards

We recently switched to Square and a Square rep migrated our old gift cards (which contained 16 digit all-numeric codes).  

The Square system is now declining all of these old gift cards, once we type in the 16 digit code.  

Is there a time period that we have to wait for old cards to be "uploaded" to Square?  Is there a way to know if all of our old cards will be accepted (and why aren't they being accepted now)?

This should start working as soon as Square uploads the CVS file into the system. Some of our old cards had 14 digits so Square added 00 at the front of the imported numbers, and it worked. I would call support, or email and make sure all went well with the import. They may have to do it again. They can fix this issue! 

On a side note, I also kept the spreadsheet of all old cards and check them off as they are used up.
