Marketing issue

Hello everyone, 

  I have an issue I am trying to start my email campaign, I test out the marketing campaign, and as I go to test it out and check it out, my email(Gmail) says it was a suspicious email, and that similar emails have been used to steal information, I've never used Square marketing, this is my first time and I am not happy about this , I am a legitimate business owner, and I live by the credit of my name , I dont even want to use square marketing systems because of this issue because I fear that its not fully supported, and will allow people to harm my business operations and sales. Please tell me if someone has had this issue and if its good to even use the systems on here.

Yikes, This isn't a typical situation and we'd love to have our Marketing team take a look at this further. If other people are seeing this as an issue, please let me know and we'll have the engineering team look further.

Hello I didn't mean to seem rude, but my customer base is loyal and trust in my business and I test and vet everything to protect my customers information and privacy so for me to see that on my email I don't know if its an issue that gmail flagged or its an issue from square but I just want to get clarification on this issue.

Hey @justfreshctw - I'm back! 

 

UPDATE - we've gotten word from other Sellers subscribed to Marketing who experienced the same issue where campaigns were routed to buyers' spam folders with alerts of suspicious emails. I'm glad to report our Engineering Team has since fixed this issue - now email campaigns are being sent to inboxes normally. 

 

We don't run into these problems often - and regret the unfavorable impression this left on your customers as we strive to create a positive selling environment for your business.
