Using square appointments and Client paid with a gift card that had no chip, so i manually entered instead of swipe. Payment went through, but didn't close out appointment. Looks like Payment went through shown in clients Payment history, but appointment didn't close out. What did I do wrong , and how do i close appointment out?

Did you click on the Appointment to collect the payment? Or did you just enter the card number?

I clickedon the appointment, then clicked manual and entered card. Today i had another incident where the client entered all the card info, checked out fine and ut didn't close out the appointment. Wondering if i am leaving the screen too fast before seeing "payment accepted"? I looked in my transactions and reports and all payments have gone through

Is the appointment grayed out at all?
