A lot of my sales are wholesale and are processed with a Purchase Order and an offline payment. After a wholesale order is complete, I'd like to add the sale info (total cost, items sold, etc) into Square so that I can I can have a dashboard of all of my sales in one place. In particular, I'd like to have this info so that I can accurately track the sales count for each item.
Any ideas about how to do this in Square? If not, is there another system you'd recommend for tracking sales of each item?
Thank you!

You can do this easily with Square. You would simply setup the items you are selling on your paper invoices that you want to track, add them to a sale and checkout. YOu could use the "other" payment instead of cash to help you with tracking this.
Also you could just use Square for invoicing. Invoices are free to send and accept cash or check payments for, they only charge a fee when a credit card is used to pay the invoice.
Hey,
I would like to start using Square Inventory Management but is there a way to subtract inventory if I sell items outside of Square? I currently only see options like "damage" or "loss." But I would like to just add a sale. Is this possible and I just don't see how?
Thanks!

			Hello @Marirae!
You could add the sale to Square using the Point of Sale app and select the 'Other' payment option as suggested in this thread.
However, keep in mind that when you manually add a sale this way it will it adjust inventory levels and it will be recorded in your sales reports. This is important if you're tracking these sales somewhere else. Also important to note is that you can't back date a sale, so if you sold the item on Monday but recorded it on Tuesday your sales report will show the item was sold on Tuesday.
If you have any other questions don't hesitate to reply, happy to help!
Hello- I would like to follow up. I currently used the method Helen discussed below, however I've ran into an issues our recording of double sale and transaction from Square and the other platform I sale on. I like the way I can keep track of my overall sales on Square along with inventory. But in the end Square and the other System will possibly report the same sales at the end of the year for tax purposes.
Hello @walkersbeautyre , I'm foreseeing the same issue too. Did you find a solution to recording a double sale, for example just using Square to track all sales including sales made outside of Square?
