Just hooked up my new magstripe reader and it will not read cards, acknowledge them in any way. No error messages. My phone does acknowledge the plug in is there, but i am forced to manually key in the credit card numbers. I downloaded square software last week so should have the most up to date software. I have my first sales day tomorrow, please help!
Do you happen to have a case on your phone? If so, try taking the case off, and make sure the reader is fully seated.
