I have already gotten my bank verified and my merchandise added...is there anything else specifically I need to do before our first transaction?

Do you mean to verify that your Square account is linked to your bank account for deposits? No need to call your bank. You can check verification status by visiting your Dashboard: https://squareup.com/dashboard/business/bank-accounts-overview
