Is there an easy way to check last year to date sales for sales projecting purposes

I would like to be able to easily see what my sales and itemized sales were for same day last year. I know that information exist but its definetly a process to get to. The trend comparison show by hour on the graph but dont plainly state what the end of day sales were last year. It would be nice if my employees had insight into what they had done the previous year.

Hey @Lastchancepizza !

First thing, check out the Square Dashboard app available for iOS. It does a great job of to-the-minute comparatives for the current day, last week, last month, last 52 weeks (perfect day match), and last year (date match)

On your web dashboard, you can create a Custom Report that can give you all the information in one space so you don't have to run multiple reports. Head to Reports -> Custom Reports and build a report specific to what you need. Please note that in the report builder, Square feeds all your information to the browser. If your item library is sizable and/or you're using an older computer, it can bog down or crash the browser. Once the report is built though, it's blazing fast.
