Hey @Soapnthings, welcome to the seller community and thanks for pointing this out!

 

At this time, there isn't a way to create an open ticket using existing customer details (e.g. from Customer Directory). For now, you'll have to create an open ticket by either swiping the customer's card or entering in their name manually.

 

I can definitly see how this would improve the experience for both you and your customers. Rest assured that I'll be sharing your suggestion with our Product Liaison team.
