I would like to click on a customer profile and see what purchases (based on item) they have made. Is there a funtionality that can do this?
You can use the Customer Directory to keep track of this. Once you connect a customer to a sale, you can search for customers, see their average spent and how many purchases, and click on each purchase to see what they bought on their receipt.

@loveatfirstsmoo - Just as an add on, learn how to use your Customer Directory from the Square App. Feel free to post any follow-up comments!
I have a beauty bussiness that offers services and products , Is there an easy way to see past purcheased products without having to look into each past transaccion manually, my clients dont purchase products every visit and sometimes they just come for their products , they usually just come and say I want the cream that I purchase before '
it is very time consuming to be entering all the past transactions manually to see which products they purchase
Hey @lorenaan view your client's purchase activity straight from the Customer Directory. I moved you to a thread that will help you out!
@JustinC can you point me in the direction of the same thread? I have the same issue: when a customer is waiting in the store, I don't want to have to click through every historical transaction to find out when they last purchased a particular item. I'd like to quickly search all of their Buyer Activity instead.
Hi There - unfortunately neither that response or the Customer Directory guide answers my question. They both indicate to search for customer orders and to "click on each order". This is what I'm trying to avoid. A customer could have shopped with us 20 times, they come in looking to restock on a particular makeup foundation but can't remember the shade. I then have to comb through 20+ orders just to find the historic purchase. Would be great (and much quicker) if I could simply search all of a Customer's purchase history for the item vs clicking on each and doing a manual review.
