Is there a way to search during Checkout on Square POS?

We have hundreds of items that are similarly named in our store and have to scroll quite a bit during checkout to find the item that the customer is buying as there is no search capability to narrow the list during a sale.  Is this something that is on the radar for development?

You're able to do a search for items when on the checkout screen. Are you talking about the ability to search for items after they've been added to a customer's "cart"?

Thank you for replying Nika_S.  We have been using a custom grid for each type of service we provide so that our category choices are easier to locate quickly but were having trouble finding items in somes of our more robust categories.  There is no search option from a custom grid,  hence the post.  I realized after I left this message that I can pull up the library screen and use the search feature there to find what I need quickly.

@roncampbellart That makes sense now that I know you're using the grid view! There have been other sellers who have brought up how easy it would be for them to search items within the grid view- and I can't say I disagree. I can definitely pass this feedback along to our Product team.

While it's not necessarily a fix, other sellers have said that listing categorizes alphabetically in the grid view has somewhat helped to quicken the searching in real time. You also already may be doing it this way, so I apologize if I'm rambling at this point.
