Is there a way to create a online discount code that is only applied to certain items?

I would like to run a promotion where customers who sign up for our email list, get a discount code for a certain product. Is it possible to set up a discount code that is only applied to certain products?

I went to check on this and the ability to offer a discount code for a specific product when a customer provides their email address isn't available exactly as you've described, but there is a similar option that may help get you where you need to be.

With Square Loyalty, you can offer a reward to customers that provide their email address. Learn more here: Incentivize Customers to Provide Their Email Address.

I can't figure this out either.  It seems that you can only do restrictions like this if you're offering it in store where an employee can enter a passcode, not your online shop 😞

Hi @heatherrose! Our older Square Online Store doesn't offer that type of discount, but the New Online Store (with Weebly) has this option available! You could consider moving over to the new Online Store and giving it a try.
