Is there a way to calculate a delivery fee based on mileage?

I have setup a square online store for a rental service. I want to calculate a delivery fee based on mileage distance. For example, free delivery withing 10 miles. After 10 miles, there is a flat fee based on mileage distance. Is there a way to calculate distance between store address and delivery address to automatically apply a delivery charge?

I just checked in with our Weebly specialists, and they did confirm that this is a feature request. HOWEVER, it is something that is being actively worked on by the product team.

hi, @PeteyD I have the same problem. I sell food and I can only set a fixed delivery fee for all my customers with Square... When will the system be able to calculate the delivery fee based on mileage? In the meantime what should I do? I can't charge the same amount for deliveries that are 3 and 17 miles away.

@gtanks123 I still don't have an ETA for when this feature will be available. Sorry to be the one to have to share that news.

@isabelle shares a suggestion on this thread in the mean time for somewhat of a workaround. If and when adjusting delivery fees based on locations becomes available, we'll go back to that post and give sellers and update. Feel free to subscribe to that thread so that you'll get a notification whenever we post updates to it.

Hi,

we are the restaurant that using our own drivers to delivery food to our customers. We are using the Weebly online store. Is there any way to use the driving distance instead of straight line distance? We we delivering food is driving a car not driving a airplane. Some orders the driving distance and straight line distance is at least 2 miles difference, sometimes make our drivers using more gas and more time, but not paying the proper delivery fee and service charge. Please update this!

Right now, the mileage delivery fee is a Feature Request for the Online Store. I have added you to a thread where other sellers have made a similar request. Whenever we have more information on the Product Update one of our moderators will post an update there.
