I would like to allow clients to book evening services up to a specific time (no matter the service duration) without square factoring in the service time because it is blocking my customers from booking evening appointments because it thinks I won't stay past my closing time of 6pm if it is a longer service. In a perfect scenario, if my business hours are listed until 6:00pm, I would like my clients to be able to book a 6:00pm appointment (even though I will be working past my "open hours"). Right now square shows my evening slots as unavailable and I do not want to list my hours until 8pm because I will get clients that actually want to book at 6:30pm, 7:00pm or 7:30pm and I just want 6pm to be my last appointment of the day.. Is there a way to do this?

If you want to offer a 1 hour long service at 6:00, you would need to update your availability to end at 7.
Otherwise, this would be a feature request, as your clients are only able to book an appointment themselves via your booking site within your listed open hours.
Another tidbit I gathered from the Appointments team is that when adding availability, you could click the + sign to the right of the hours to add another line, or lines. This would essentially be like creating time blocks, so that you are available 10-2, 2-4, 6-7 etc.
One important note: Remember that you can always schedule an appointment for your clients outside of your hours!

How do you do this? Schedule an appointment outside of business hours?
I am a service based business doing vehicle Detailing and Customization. A lot of my services can take 7 hours to 2 days sometimes. I used to be able to set an appointment for 5:30 and still have it run past my business hours I thought because I had staff available to work it. Now it seems like the feature has been removed or something. Is there a way to set a service without any duration and override the prompt in square appointments? Or what do you suggest I do aside from making my hours from 8 am - 1 am. I think that would be very confusing and misleading for customers.
It would be nice to be able to take the appointment in and not worry about the duration
