I am aware of the transaction fees, but i currently do not have my clients scheduling there apointments through square. Is there an added fee for that?

While there is no extra cost for your customers actually booking a scheduled appointment, our Appointments feature is a subscription based service. You can learn more about subscription costs for Appointments here.

For appointments, I know that once you get to 2 staff members, there is a cost. The thing that is not clear is, am I as account owner considered 1 of the staff members, even if I don't use appointments? So if I add my manager, then it's 2 people and there is a cost?

Yes, you're classified as a staff member because you'll ultimately have full access and the ability to make edits to appointments as the account owner. If you add another staff member, you will be charged. @CHERI_WAGS
