Is customer credit card information saved somewhere on the Apple device used with the swiper?

If I use other peoples Apple devices with my swiper and my square account are my customers credit card numbers saved somewhere on the actual Apple device that was used, making it subject to being hacked later when the device is out of my control?

No, credit card information is not stored on any device. Also it is encrypted at swipe before it ever transfers to the device.
