Invoices: Can I give customers the option to pay the total amount or only a deposit?

Is there a way to send an invoice out to a customer with the deposit request, but still allow the customer to pay the balance in full if they wish instead of just the deposit in one transaction and the balance in another?

Currently it is not possible on Square Invoices. I'm interested in learning how this feature would benefit your business.

I would use this as well for patients who have a balance on health services, I would like to be able to give them the option to pay in full or pay a % of the balance for the next few months.
