In appointments, can a service be limited to only be booked for a specific location or staff person?

I am trying to figure out if Square appointments will work for my business. I see clients in-person at my studio on Tuesdays and Thursdays and over the phone on Mondays and Fridays. When my clients book appointments online I want them to see that if they want a phone session they can only book that on a Monday or Friday and if they want an in-person session that they can only book that on a Tuesday or Thursday. If I have a "physical location" and add a "mobile location" can I restrict the service they can choose according to the location? If not, can I create another staff person (that is also me) but studio-me is restricted to the in-person service, and phone-me is restricted to the phone service. Also, I block different amounts of extra time between my in-person sessions than my phone sessions so just using one service for both doesn't work for me. Ideas? Thanks 🙂

@InnerProsperity The workaround that came to mind would be the one you mentioned toward the end of your post using staff profiles for the type of appointment being booked. 

 

You would create two staff members, and name them "Phone Appointment" and "In-Person Appointment" or something along those lines to let the customers know what service they're booking. 

 

You can then set the availability hours for the staff profiles so that it matches up to the Monday/Friday and Tuesday/Thursday criteria for phone-in and in-person services. 

 

Hopefully another seller can chime in with their experience with this and how it's worked for them. 

 

It sounds like it would work great for what you're trying to do.

Would adding a staff member (even though it is yourself) be costing $50/month because now you wouldn't be a single owner run business?

Hey @savellino - Once your staff count reaches 2 or more, you will then be charged the monthly fee for Appointments. Is there a reason why you would need to add yourself as a Staff member rather than just using your Owner profile?
