I want to start a raffle and donate the proceeds to a charity

I would like to create an event that will focus on selling raffle tickets towards a piece of furniture that I have made, and I would like to donate the majority of the proceeds to a cancer research organization. Can I use square to manage the ticket sales?  I figured I could then export the total sales to an excel file and then use a random number generator to pick from the total number of ticket sales to find my winner.  Is this something that can be done or do I need to use a different platform to raise money for a cause?

Hi @Josh615! Thanks for your question!

You can sell raffle tickets online using the Weebly Store, or create a raffle item to sell in person.

As far as the randomizer- the way I'd see it, you would you need to sell each ticket individually, or look into how you'll want to quantify each entry if someone buys more than one ticket.

I'd suggest playing with the system a bit so you can get a feel for how you'll want to manage this!
