How can I amend the amount of a sale? I under charged.

It is not possible to change to total of a credit card payment. You will need to contact your customer and request they pay the difference.
What if they refuse?
In my case the customer was supposed to pay $103 but instead was charged only $1.03 when I contacted them to let them know of the discrepancy they said they would call me back in 15 minutes but then never did. So now what do I do?
This isn't what you want to hear, but you may be stuck. If the customer isn't the type who wants to make things right, your only recourse may be some sort of legal action, maybe a small-claims court would be the way to go. Or if you wanted, maybe contact the customer again and offer some discount if he or she would do that, it would suck, but would be better than eating the entire difference.
It has definitely been a learning experience as I am sure I will never make this same mistake again. 😀
