I neglected to enter a sales transaction that occurred at the end of the day. I had a sales report

A sales report was made but did not include the missing sales transaction.  Is there a way to go back, enter the transaction, and then generate a new abs accurate reports.

You can't go back and add a transaction to a date other than today.  entering it now will at least get your inventory and sales accurate, it will just be that this one transaction actually took place a previous day in reality.

Hey @cawaha, thanks for reaching out. @VanKalkerFarms is right — there isn't a way to backdate or add a payment retroactively at this time. For now their workaround is the best solution for making sure that your inventory and sales reports are balanced.

We are tracking this request and we appreciate your patience with this.

I would love to have this ability too! My business is mobile and I use invoice pads sine the app is on my phone and I sometimes have multiple helpers. I try to enter cash sales at the end of the day, but don't always get to it until the next day.

This feature is required for those of us unable to enter transactions on the day they occur. This happens in business, and Square needs to be aware of how businesses actually work, not their idea of how they "should" work!
