Yep, your employees can install the Square Register app on their phones.  They will be able to access your company's account and enter sales if you provide login information to them.

Yep,  happened to me and they stole thousands of dollars. Dont let employees bring their phones to work. Put in a camera too.

I found employees with their own square account. They used their account to process my sales. I lost tons of money.

Really sorry to hear this happened to you.

It's definitely hard to control and monitor making sure employees are signed into the correct account either under you or their own employee profile account.

The trust system really has to come into play when you're letting them use their own devices and there's also room for user-error too making sure they're logged into the correct account so it is best to work off of your own managed devices.

First,  they did not have permission to use my account except to run charges. As I said,  they opened their own private account with their bank account and rang up my inventory from my store using their account. What they sold from my store went into their bank account. I had a camera installed and saw this for myself.
