I'm being prompted for a passcode when opening the SquareRegister app, but don't have one on my iPad

Hello,

I am volunteering for a non-profit and I have used the organiation's credentials to log into the Square Register app on their iPads. However, I am now being prompted for a passcode, when there is no passcode on the iPads. My assumption is that the passcode is something on the Square side and is something that can be changed/reset from the dashboard, but I am not seeing the option. Please assist me on this matter. 

FYI, I am able to successfully login and process transactions on 1 of the 3 iPads I attempted this on, which I find odd.

iPad., but I am locked out because I don't have a passcode! I can't do any of your directions without said passcode!!!

Hi there, @debrad80 - thanks for reaching out.

 

Just to be clear, are you having issues with the code to get into your Apple device, or rather are you seeing a passcode requirement within the Square app?

If it's the latter, here is a guide on resetting your passcode. If you're unable to get into your account in order to edit your passcode, you can also reach out to our Support Team directly for direct help!

I am NOT able to login! The passcode pad pops up. I'm on my Samsung S20+ not ipad.
